Fall 2023 Conference

NC3ADL - Revolutionizing Online Learning

Fall Conference: Distance Learning: A New Wave| A Virtual Event | October 18 - 20


This fully virtual three-day event covers an array of topics to showcase the trends in online  learning.  Join us as we look to engage with you and help you enhance  your understanding and approach to online learning.


Registration for the NC3ADL 2023 Conference is now open! Join the NC3ADL Executive Board and colleagues from across the state as we host a completely virtual, three-day evet. With the theme "Distance Learning: A New Wave," we aim to show off the amazing things you’re doing in distance learning and facilitate discussions that motivate you to consider a new approach to accessible, affordable, equitable, and innovative education.

The NC3ADL Executive Board is excited to announce our keynote speaker for the 2023 Distance Learning: A New Wave virtual conference.


Dr. Maria Andersen has spent most of her career teaching, writing curriculum, and developing digital products for learning. Dr. Andersen has degrees in Chemistry, Environmental Biology, Mathematics, Business Administration, and Education Leadership. After 10 years as a college professor, she stepped out of academia to embrace online learning and the underlying technologies behind it. Dr. Andersen worked in the EdTech industry for 10 years, including working as the Director of Learning Design at WGU and founding and bringing a company (Coursetune) to a successful exit. Recently Dr. Andersen returned to the classroom, having new teaching adventures teaching with AI tools in K-12 middle and high school.
